High school sweethearts, Selina and Trevino met and fell in love back in 2010, they opened a new chapter in their love story this year by tying the knot. Content creator, Selina describes her husband as being kind, caring and loving.

We’ve been through high school, navigating how to balance our time after school because we were always together in high school, getting jobs, managing finances, running many many many small businesses (from selling samoosas to managing business’ social media presence), our careers, buying cars, our house and now we’re married. But through it all, I always say that the best gift Trevino ever gave me was inviting me to church and I’ll always be grateful to him for that… And the fact that he’s so handsome is just a cherry on top of this romantic-love-story-sundae. – Selina

For their wedding, the couple opted to focus on their family while keeping their theme elegant and timeless. They goal was to create a beautiful experience for our families.

I even went back to my natural hair colour so that when our grandchildren see our photos, it will be one of those keep-sake type of memories, like the old photos we have of our grandparents; my grandfather also wasn’t a fan of my ombre so back to black it was! In the age of Instagram it’s so easy to just ‘do it for the gram’ (each to their own) but we really wanted to focus on the covenant of a marriage and celebrating this special union with our families and that’s why we left it off social media until our vows were done. We also wanted our loved ones to get dressed, and come be a guest; we didn’t want them to have any pressure of planning and missing out the special moments, so our vendors all stepped in and let our family relax and enjoy our wedding.
